Raised in Atlanta, Ga. Graduated high school in 2008, and upon completion, enlisted into the Army a year later. During his seven years in service, he was a Combat Engineer, Electronic Warfare Specialist, Team leader of the Company Intelligence Support Team, and an IT/Network Specialist.
During his first deployment in 2010, he earned a Purple Heart after his vehicle was
hit by an IED explosion, causing severe injuries which would eventually leave him permanently disabled.
After leaving the Army in 2017, he dedicated his time to helping the community of Fairbanks Alaska. His service included being a Certified Nurse’s Aide for those in need of assisted living, and also as a phlebotomist. He then moved back to Atlanta, Ga for better stability for his family.
Upon moving to Marietta, Ga, he began attending Kennesaw State University. He began his collegiate career as medical major and has since moved on to major in Business Administration in Management, with a minor in Financial Technology.
As a Kennesaw State Student, he has recently become the President of
the Student Veterans of America student organization, as well as the Military and Veterans Affairs Chair for the school’s NAACP chapter.
He has six wonderful children and an amazing wife.
